We desire them, we use them, we live with them, we are surrounded by them but we still do not think about them as a part of our life. We do not often consider the relationship we have with them.Yet, we all talked to an object one day or another: encouraging it, begging it or swearing at it. And most of us have troubles throwing away objects when moving houses.

According to the dictionary, a relationship is «the way in which two things are connected». But, most of the time, when talking about a «relationship», we mean the connection uniting two persons, two lovers. A concept theoretically divisible in two parts: the physical part of a relationship and the emotional part of a relationship. This work considers those two aspects regarding our relationship with objects. First: how do we physically get in touch with them? Ho do we touch and grab? What are our gestures? What triggers them? Then: how do we consider objects? What is an object for us? And finally: How do we appropriate objects?
