The competition amongst corporations is too great.

The „DNA“ of small and medium Swiss enterprises is composed of values such as family property, tradition, personality, quality and entrepreneurship etc. These values provide the basis for corporate culture.

There is a mismatch between the working world in 2012 and the consumer market:
The values which are proclaimed by corporations and the values which are named as trends on the consumer market have been drifting apart – the result is a wide gap.
The author would like to show that there is a great opportunity for small and medium enterprises by positioning themselves in this gap.
The object of this masterthesis is to illustrate to these small Swiss companies that by relying on their own values – combined with positive aspects of working world in 2012 – they will be able to communicate very successfully.
