Name, first nameMarielle RothYear of birth1989UniversityZHDKField of Interest / research fieldEvent DesignTitle of projectDrugs - places.social.time.strategiesAbstractBased on a case study on consumption of illegal psychoactive substances it is examined how certain hard-to-reach target groups can be addressed in unconventional ways. In order to obtain as much information as possible from drug users, an ethnographic lifeworld analysis is conducted and methods such as participant observation in the field, interviews and narrative interviews are used. Additionally, Cultural Probes and netnography serve to collect "natural data". The knowledge gained this way is used to develop appropriate means of communication, in the form of interventions and experiments. The aim of these exceptional guerilla-style and aesthetic communication strategies is to increase consumer awareness, based on individual decisions of the consumers. The present work is the result of the application and analysis of these communication strategies within the research field.TutorsBitten Stetter, Francis Müller, Martina EberleFileDownload file
