In my master thesis I will deal with this particular moment.
From the perspective of Jewish philosophy, as it was by Rabbi Dessler (1996) represented, there are two phases of love. The first is the romantic love, which is God-given and can open up a space for strong emotions, though only for a short time. The dwindling as romantic love leaves a space in which true love can now take place. This true love develops slowly and needs a longer time. The focus of my project is the so called romantic love or infatuation.

The project questions how the volatile and multifaceted phenomenon infatuation can visually be represented? How can a change of perspective opens up new spaces for thinking about falling in love and allow multiple interpretations?
