They take place on a single big display and run permanently. The players, not knowing each other, join and leave the game whenever they want and need no coordination by a game master. A person can join the game using a wireless controlling device like a smartphone. The game should entertain the players over a prolonged time, enrich the room experience and in the best case act as a platform to connect people. The goal of this work is to develop design rules for this kind of instantaneous public play and to build a prototype game to test if the desired effects occur.TutorsRené Bauer, Mela KocherFileDownload file
