As humans we perceive with our senses, differences in temperature, moisture, wind and sun intensity. The impact of weather on our body can go from pleasant to brutal. Humans have therefore not only tried to protect themselves from these natural forces but also to predict them, in order to prepare or benefit from them. With an increasing understanding of the weather systems and our sophisticated possibilities in protection and creating energy, our own impact on weather becomes visible.

Within my essay I will focus on accuracy, experience and influence on weather - to which extend do we influence the impact of weather on our landscape? Can buildings become weather machines? Alongside the designer and the user, can we identify the weather as a creative force on its own?
