In today’s world the visually impaired face many challenges on a daily basis, challenges that the sighted do not encounter. As a result of a lack of understanding and empathy the visually impaired are often forgotten when it comes to the designing of products and environments. Through thorough research this report develops an understanding of how the visually impaired experience the world. Utilising this understanding, the report presents the design evolution of a product that can be used to enhance awareness and empathy for the visually impaired in order to create positive change in interactions between the sighted and the visually impairedTutorsAnnina Gähwiler, Michael Krohn, Francis Müller
