In order to obtain as much information as possible from drug users, an ethnographic lifeworld analysis is conducted and methods such as participant observation in the field, interviews and narrative interviews are used. Additionally, Cultural Probes and netnography serve to collect "natural data". The knowledge gained this way is used to develop appropriate means of communication, in the form of interventions and experiments.
