Can it make us any “smarter” or “wiser”? Since thousand of years across cultures and religions, Man has searched for mind-body-universe connection through meditation. A recurring element in this ritual is the presence of an object, whether it is mental, body-related or physical. While haptic interaction with a physical object engages the practitioner in an enactive spiritual experience of awareness, how does it affect the perception of self, time and space? I am investigating this by experimenting with “dumb” objects and with “smart” ones, such as a hand-held brain-responsive prototype for neurofeedback.TutorsBjörn Franke, Max RheinerFileDownload file
